History
The Solanum belongs to the Solanaceae family, also known as the nightshades. They are an economically important family of flowering plants and ranges from herbs to trees, and includes a number of important agricultural crops. The Solanum is originally from Paraguay. Please note that this plant is poisonous and not edible. The Solanum comes in a variety of colours blue, white, lavender.

Where to place the Solanum
The Solanum loves a sunny but partly shaded spot. A spot on the terrace, balcony, or garden would be best.

Taking care of the Solanum
The Solanum should be watered on a regular basis so that the soil always stays slightly moist. Fertilize the plant every two weeks or more.

Pruning
To keep the plant in its compact shape, cut back the long shoots.
